What is it for?: DHT Blocker. Testosterone converts to Estrogen and also DHT(Dihydrotestosterone). DHT makes pours close and clog resulting in hair loss and acne. Also inflames the prostate. If urinating too frequently, weak stream- those are both symptoms of a swollen prostate.
Rec Dose: 0.5mg/daily is the recommended dose. There are slight effects including reduced sex drive. Side effects generally go away after 2 weeks of use.
Finasteride is an alternative to dutasteride, although dutasteride has shown to give less side effects than finasteride.
